10% discount with the Green Week-Ticket
From 20th to 29th January visitors from all over the world flock to the world´s largest fair for food, agriculture and horticulture - the International Green Week.
2011 the fair enticed 415,000 visitors - and also in this year Berlin rejoice over numerous guests from home and abroad.
Therefore we grant all guests who come with a ticket from the Green Week a 10% discount to the regular admission ticket.

Qwoo met mayor Klaus Wowereit at the 116th German Trotter Derby
On 7th August 2011 our museum’s mascot QWoo met the governing mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit, at the harness racing track in Berlin-Mariendorf.
Both of them were interviewed on the topic of Currywurst by a stadium announcer after a derby’s presentation ceremony.
Background was the planned “Race Day of the Currywurst” on 2ndOctober 2011.
The harness racing track Berlin-Mariendorf has such an old-established connection to Berlin’s history as well as the Currywurst and invites guests to the derby week for 116 years.

Spice workshop - self-made currypowder!
The Deutsches Currywurst Museum was part of the 4th Eventcongress Berlin (4. Veranstaltungskongress Berlin) with a spice workshop. In different groups interns of the event branch could try curry creations and produce their own yellow, red or green curry powder.
You also want to produce curry powder on your own? No problem! Within exclusive events guests can make their own curry powder. Under instruction the powder will be mixed and pestled in divers groups. Beside the fact that you get a lot of interesting information about the different spiced the self-made curry powder creations can be tasted afterwards with a sausage and sauce.
